Daily Nugget

    Sunday, December 1st. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“If God has made your cup sweet, drink it with grace. If he has made it bitter; drink it in communion with him” (Oswald Chambers, 1874–1917).

Too often when things are going well, we tend to take all the credit for our blessings. Likewise when things are going terribly, isn’t it funny that, instead of drawing nearer to God, some of us tend to blame Him? Let us learn to walk with Him in wisdom at all times.  The writer of James reminds us to “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you”(4:8).

God, forgive me for taking any credit that is Yours. Thank You for being with me at all times. Amen.
