Daily Nugget

Wednesday, August 14th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Some years ago, after a vigorous brotherly and sisterly disagreement, our three children retired only to be aroused at two o’clock in the morning by a terrific thunderstorm. Hearing an unusual noise upstairs, I called in to find out what was going on. A little voice answered, “We are all in the closet forgiving each other” (Robert C. Tuttle).

These two were learning at an early age the benefits of forgiving and moving on. When we love someone, we can forgive him or her easily. The writer of Proverbs 17:17 reminds us: “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”

God, thank you for loving me and forgiving me. Amen
Bro. Bill
