“Man prefers to believe what he prefers to be true” (Francis Bacon, 1561–1626).

The trouble with the statement above, whether you choose to believe it or not, is that it does matter what is true. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). Choosing to prefer...to believe...the truth not only makes all the difference in this world but also in the world to come.

God, thank You for sending the truth to us in the flesh. Amen
