“A single grateful thought raised to heaven is the most perfect prayer” (Gotthold Ephraim Lessing 1729–1781).

How often does one quote children’s songs ("Praise Him, Praise Him" or "Jesus loves me," etc…) because they convey the exact thought we need to think or to pray in our devotions to God? After that we can sit back and just let Him just fellowship with us.

Sometimes we must do as the writer of Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still and know that I am God.”
