Daily Nugget

   Monday, July 8th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

"When we fall into the outer darkness, we do not go in bands and companies—each man must fall by himself. And this same lonesomeness will mark the judgment of each soul. 'Thou must go forth alone,' is the hardest part of the verdict pronounced upon the impenitent sinner" (Unknown).

As sad as that is, how great it is that we as Christians will not go into the judgment by ourselves. The writer of 1 John 2:1 gives this word of consolation: “If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

God, thank You for your Son who is my spokesman. Amen.
