Life is what happens to you while you’re busy planning more important things.

Don’t miss all you sunsets, you child’s hugs, your spouses’ kisses  or the wags of your dogs tail worrying about something that will play itself out anyway.  Jesus in Matthew 6:33-34 reminds us to put God first with these words, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

God, Let me keep the important things in focus.  Amen
