Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

Dentist is overheard speaking to his patient as he bends over him with a hypodermic needle in hand: “You might feel a little sting. On the other hand, it might feel as though you’ve been kicked in the mouth by a mule.”

It is good to be told from the first so we know what to expect. We don’t always like what we hear, but the truth is that many times what we hear means more to us than anything. For example, Jesus told us in John 8:31-32, “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

God, thank You for the truth that makes us free. Amen
