Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

This past month we have experienced every kind of weather we can imagine. We have had sunshine, rain, fog, sleet, clouds, thunder and lightning, frost, warmth, and even snow. Out of all that mix, everyone should have had at least a  few minutes of happiness and a reason to praise God.

Each of these diversities of our weather is special in its own way. Our heavenly Father gives us so much to praise Him for that sometimes it is hard to know where to start. The writer of Psalms 8:1 expresses it this way: “O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.” 

God, thank You for all the many ways You paint our day to make it special. Help us to be grateful when You paint it in such a way as to make our days of friendship special. Amen.
