Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

Dr. Bonar once said that he could tell when a Christian was growing. In proportion to his growth in grace, he would elevate his Maker, talk less of what he himself was doing, and become smaller and smaller in his own esteem, until, like the morning star, he faded way before the rising sun.

At a time when it seems the world loses itself in its own self-importance, it is refreshing to find growing Christians who are able to stand firm. For that kind of victory, we follow these words of advice of the apostle John in John 3:30 where he said, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

God, let our will become Yours. Amen.
