Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

“Take rest; a field that has rested gives a bountiful crop.” (Ovid 43 B.C. –A.D. 17)

In the hustle-bustle world in which we reside, it is a blessing to know God intended for you and me not only to come aside and rest, but also He desires for our rest to be with Him.  The Lord says in Exodus 31:15, “Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD.”

God, thank You for giving us a time and place to rest.  Amen.
