Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

“Trustfulness is based on confidence in God, whose ways I do not understand. If I did, there would be no need for trust.” (Oswald Chambers)

One of the main reasons men have trouble trusting God, whom they can’t see, is because they have been let down by men who are not trustworthy, but are men whom they can see. Our trust in God is possible because of faith.  The apostle Paul wrote these words in Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”

God, thank You for the faith that allows us to trust You.  Amen.
