Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

As the light turned green, a man’s car stalled in the heavy traffic. All his efforts to start the engine failed, and a chorus of honking behind him made matters worse. He finally got out of his car, walked back to the first driver, and said, “I’m sorry, but I can’t seem to get my car started. If you’ll go up there and give it a try, I’ll stay here and blow your horn for you.”

It is easy to judge someone who has fallen and who has had difficulty in his or her life. On the other hand, to be understanding and patient is to be like Christ.  The writer of James 1:4 tells us: “Let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

God, help us to walk in Your patience toward our fellow man.  Amen.
