Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“There is no known record of any man being shot while his hands are in the sink in his home washing dishes” (anonymous).

Many problems can be solved by tending to our own business. The wise writer of Proverbs 5:18 says, “Let your fountain be blessed, and take pleasure in the wife of your youth.”  If more men took this advice, not only would there be less marital trouble, but also it would free up much of our court overload and put a plethora of attorneys out of business.

God, help me to be the husband my wife deserves and the dad my children and son-in-laws need to see. Amen
