“Worry is the interest paid on trouble before it falls due” (Unknown).

Some of us feel obligated to fret or worry, thinking we can control each detail of our life. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:25, “This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear.”

God, teach us not to hang on to worry, but to let You handle the details. Amen.
