Many of our mothers were nurturing and loving and taught us strong values as we grew. The fact that we left and tested our wings does not mean we rejected those lessons, sometimes we just had growing pains. Fortunately some of our moms have still been around to see us return to embrace those teachings. The wise writer of Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
