Yahweh

... those He treasures ...

While I was speaking, praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my petition before Yahweh my God concerning the holy mountain of my God- 21 while I was praying, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the first vision, came to me in my extreme weariness, about the time of the evening offering. 22 He gave me this explanation: "Daniel, I've come now to give you understanding. 23 At the beginning of your petitions an answer went out, and I have come to give it, for you are treasured [by God]."

Daniel, now interceding before God ... on behalf of God's own purpose ... for God's own benefit ... gets God's attention.

There are myriads of saints that will appeal to God on their own behalf, and perhaps many will actually appeal to God on the behalf of a loved one ... some might even reach the high plain of appealing to God on the behalf of an enemy ... but what is difficult for God to find ... is a person who will appeal to God purely and totally on God's own behalf.

This is the story of Daniel ... and he became a unique treasure to Yahweh.

This is the understanding that Yahweh is looking for in the world today.
