It is one thing to be terrified; another, to be humbled.”

Given that we all stand before our heavenly Father guilty, we must be willing to humble ourselves and let His gaze convict us in order to bring us closer to Him. The writer of 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness.”

God, thank You for loving us enough to restore us to the loving relationship with Yourself. Amen
