It is almost impossible to go through life with no enemies. Even worse than that, many times the ones we make the most miserable by our demands are the ones closest to us. Indeed they are the ones we expect the impossible most of the time. The writer of Proverbs 16:7 reminds us,

“When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.”

May we learn to please the LORD so we have the peace with our friends and families that God intended.
