When God teaches us something in Sunday school, in sermons, or in our daily quiet time, we can bet we will be given a test. The test is not to see us fail, but to allow us to see how our faith has grown and is carrying us through the trial. Moses shared this informationwith the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 8:2:

“And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.”

Let us learn well the lessons God puts before us.
