Daily Nugget

Monday, November 28th, 2011.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Governor Stewart, of Missouri, recognized, in a convict he was about to pardon, a steamboat mate under whom he served as cabinboy. He said: “I want you to promise that you will never again take a stick of wood and drive a sick boy out of his berth on a stormy night, because someday that boy may be governor, and you may want him to pardon you for another crime. I was that boy. Here is your pardon.”
In spite of all our sins against God, He has loved us and pardoned us. The apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 5:8,
“God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
"God, thank You for Your mercy and pardon to us.
Amen."

God is Love! Let us reflect that love.
