As a child, I remember my parents encouraging me to behave when I went to school or to someone else’s house. One of the contributing factors to my behavior was the fact that I knew they would check up to hold me accountable. Knowing we are always in the presence of God reminds us to behave.

In Matthew 28:20 Jesus reminds us,

“Lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the earth.”

"God, thank You for Your presence that draws me near to You.
Amen."
