The apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 3:23: “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” That statement is the truth, and it serves to humble us when we might otherwise get puffed up. Praise God, though, we can walk with Him, get closer to Him, and do not have to live so far from the mark. In Scripture we are told,

“If we confess our sin He is faithful and just to forgive out sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (I John 1:9)

"God, thank You for cleaning us up so we can fellowship with You.
