Everyone you meet has a story. Each lives with a tale of worry or grief or joy or happiness or victory. To look on their countenance is but to see the tip of the iceberg we carry with us. The writer of Proverbs 18:24, gives this advice,

“A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

"God, help me to see with your eyes an hear with your ears the friends You have for me to see here on earth.
Amen."
