Daily Nugget

Monday, September 5th, 2011.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
(Abraham Lincoln)
Everybody gets a dash. At the end of life, lives are reduced to a birth date and death date with a dash between. The life we live will be forgotten by most after they read the obituary. Some will remember longer because our lives not only intersected theirs, but we had an impact. The writer of 1 Peter 3:8, gives us these words to encourage us:
“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.”
"God, let us touch others with Your love.
Amen."
