Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

Pain and adversity bring us to a closer walk with God as we come to see that meds only solve the problem short term. Could it be the average health care provider does not want us to get better, only better enough to come back for more of the temporary solution? When we learn to walk with Him in the trials, God provides the answer to our situations and our problems. Can we learn to share such pain for others even in our knowing their eternal destination is one of pain and suffering? Can we carry that burden to God, asking Him to bring relief to them even if it means using us to bring the solution to them? The writer of Psalms 126:5 reminds us:

”They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

"God, help me to care more for those who do not know You.
