Advice?

Losing a child to death brings a myriad of emotions ... all complicated ... all different ... all difficult.

Joany speaks today about the inability of most people to offer any truly meaningful advice about dealing with the sudden loss of a child. As much as they might like to try and help we are usually left to deal with the loss in our own way ... on our own.

"Advice?? Not many people even know what to say after the sudden loss of an 8yr old child. And those who did speak up, most often said the wrong things; whether they realized it or not. But as far as advice, none. Not sure there was any advice to give to us. Nothing was right about our sudden loss and nothing will ever be the same."

Father, Yahweh, I pray today for those that have lost loved ones ... that they will receive from You the courage to face their pain and loss with Your strength and compassion. Move in their hearts with the knowledge of Your experience at the loss of Your Son on Calvary.
