A trust in this world can bring disappointment. Economies fail, storms come and destroy what you have worked for, illness causes suffering..... To place your trust in God is to hang your hopes on something that will last. The apostle Paul shares this confidence with us in 2 Timothy 1:12:

“I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”

Place your trust in God; He is dependable.
