Just as most gardens are made better with a little help and T.L.C. from the gardener, each of us is benefited by the hand of the Master of the universe as He prunes and shapes our lives each day. The apostle Paul understood the need to continue to grow in his Christian life and gave us these words in Philippians 3:12:

“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.”
