Remember Me?

"Yahweh, remember what has happened to us. Look, and see our disgrace!"

I still have a tiny little school photo of a boy in a foreign country in my possession. We were on a mission trip.

When we were leaving on the last day the boy came up to me and offered me the photo of himself. He looked up with his big, brown eyes ... into my eyes. He offered a simple 2 word question/request, "Remember me?"

That was well over 30 years ago. I still remember him.
