Daily Nugget

Thursday, March 24th, 2011.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

"If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don’t hoard it. Don’t dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke."
(Brendan Francis)

A tragedy today is watching someone with the ability to affect the outcome of a situation sit back and watch others flounder because they are afraid they won’t get the “credit” for remedying the situation. An even worse reaction is that of someone else, sitting back, watching, hoping the entrant will fail and he can step in and get the glory. We have this advice from the apostle Paul in Galatians 6:2:
“Bear ye one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
In other words, use what you have at your disposal to make it better for all, including yourself.

"God, thank You for the abilities You gave me. Help me to be the steward You want me to be in using your gifts to serve others.
Amen."

Bro. Bill

God is Love. Let us reflect that.
