Daily Nugget

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Men’s evil manners live in brass, Their virtues we write in water.”
(William Shakespeare)

People remember forever the foolish slip you make with your words, forgetting the wisdom you gave them personally today. Because of the results those memories can bring for times to come, we need to control our tongues and to guard our actions that we might be good examples for others. The wise writer of Proverbs 22:1 reminds us:
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.”

"God, let my walk with You be an encouragement to others.
Amen."

Bro. Bill

God is Love. Let us reflect that.
