Daily Nugget

Sunday, February 13th, 2011.

Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“If you have a well-developed sense of humor, you will find the world full of absurdities. If you are a realist, you will find it a world of cold, hard facts. If you are a moneymaker, you will find it a world of opportunities. If you are a pessimist, you will find it just a climb up a sand dune. And if you are a poet, you will find it a realm of inspiration.” (Unknown)

The question would be where do we fit? Or…in how many of these categories do we find ourselves? Or a more accurate assessment could be made by asking, “How do others see me?” With these words of Jesus, the writer of Luke 6:45 reminds us to look inward:
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”
"God, let my entire being bring glory to You.
Amen."
