Wednesday, December 1st, 2010. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

It was said of Sir Bartle Frere that he was always helping someone. Lady Frere was going to a railway station to meet her husband with a servant who had never seen him before. “Madam, how shall I know him?” asked the man. “Look for a tall gentleman helping someone,” replied Lady Frere, and sure enough, the description was sufficient, for Sir Bartle was discovered helping an old lady out of a railway carriage.

The writer of 1st Chronicles 16:8 says,
“Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.”
Wouldn’t it be great for our deeds to be so in line with God that we are recognizable as His children wherever we are found?

"God, Let me live so others can see You through my deeds.
Amen."

Bro. Bill

God, You are awesome!
