Daily Nugget
Friday, January 16th, 2015. Today's cherished nugget
from guest blogger, Pastor Bill.
“A few minutes ago every tree was excited, bowing to the
roaring storm, waving, swirling, tossing their branches in glorious enthusiasm
like worship. But though to the outer ear these trees are now silent, their
songs never cease” (John Muir).
We must ask
ourselves, “Did I praise God and my fellow man today? Or, did I complain to and
about God and my fellow man?” Even
though we are silent now, what we have said rings in the ears of those who saw
and heard us. We must give praise to God
and remember to encourage, to give sincere praise, and to compliment those
around us. The writer of Psalms 57:7 says, “My heart is fixed, O
God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
God, thank You for the very breath to praise You and the
mind to remember to do so.
