Daily Nugget

    Wednesday, December 11th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“God will make us broken bread and poured out wine to feed and nourish others” (Oswald Chambers 1874–1917).

To be useful to God we must allow Him to break us into useable portions and pour us into the lives of others. What a blessing when He choose to use us not only for ourselves, but also to use us in greater means when we bless others. When Jesus was headed to the cross, He was willing to be broken and poured out for our sakes. In Luke 22:42, He prayed, “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”

God, thank You for the example of Your Son. Pour Your love into us that we will be willing also to serve others. Amen.
