Daily Nugget

Sunday, October 27th. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

It is strange and impressive when we come to think how Providence, working with the same uniform materials in all human lives, can yet, like some skillful artist, produces endless novelty and surprises in each life.

No matter how many miles we have on us, God is constantly chipping, rounding, and polishing to make us into the pieces of work He intended for us to be from the beginning. The writer in Isaiah reminds us: “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand” (64:8).

God, help me to remember You are The Potter and I am the clay. Mold me the way You want me to be. Amen.
