Daily Nugget

Monday, September 9th, 2013.  Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.

“Much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power. No prayer, no power” (E. M Bounds).

At a time when our nation and world is looking for answers to our economic, moral, and problems of droughts, most people are clinging to the wrong hope. The majority of the world is standing with their hands out- stretched looking for temporary solutions instead of folded on bended knee asking for intervention from The Heavenly Father.  Not to go to God in prayer is to leave our most powerful weapon in its holster.

Second Chronicles 7:14 tells us: “If my people, which are called by my name , shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and ill forgive their sin, and heal their land.” With that promise in mind, how could we not believe that repentance and revival would  cure 99% of our problems?

God, forgive us for looking to the world's solutions instead of looking to You, the only real solution. Amen.
