"The fruits of the Spirit are nothing but the virtues of Christ" (Friedrich Ernst Daniel Schleiermacher 1768–1834).

What people see in us are the results of what is planted deep within us. When the attributes of Christ are sown in our hearts, the evidence will be revealed by the crop that results. The apostle Paul reminds us in Galatians 6:7: “Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”

God, let the fruits of Your spirit spring forth in me. Amen.
