“A whitewashed crow soon shows black again” (Unknown).

There are many ways to say the above, and the same truth relates to the old saying: No matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, a pig is still a pig.

The writer of John 3:19-20 records the words of Jesus this way: “And this is the condemnation, that light  is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”

May we walk in the light as He is in the light.

God, let me walk with You in a way to point others to You.  Amen.
