Daily Nugget

“If you treat a person as he is, he will stay as he is; but if you treat him as if he were what he ought to be and could be, he will become what he ought to be and could be” (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe).

In Hosea 11:1, God said, “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. “  God saw Israel not as servants in bondage in Egypt, but as His children, if you will, as King’s kids. He saw us in our bondage of sin and bought us with His own Son’s blood that we might be heirs, yea joint heirs with Jesus.

Since God has this confidence in us, let us walk in His victory.

God, thank You for Your confidence and investment in me. Amen
