Anything positive and lasting usually comes from a source other than self motivating us to do the right thing.  I can, however, get myself into trouble all by myself. That is why I must follow the advice of Proverbs 3:5 that says, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

God, give me the wisdom to listen and follow Your direction. Amen.
