Wednesday, April 9th, 2013. Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill.
Spring's greatest joy beyond a doubt is when it brings the children out” (Edgar Guest).
While they run free of coats and hats, children laugh and giggle as they play with abandon, signifying that spring has arrived. The children smile, offering the gift of a crumpled fist of clover or dandelions to their moms, and to the moms, those smiles are priceless.
Springtime even puts some pep in the step of us grown folks, causing us to say in agreement with the writer of Psalm 126:3, “The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”
God, thank You for the beauty of spring after the opportunities of winter. Amen.
