Someone has said that the difference between a mere optimist and a Christian optimist is that the former lives by the principle that life is good and the latter by the principle that God is good.

God is good, much greater than I/we deserve.  The writer of Psalms 34:8 says,  “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

God, thank You for loving us and being here when we need You. Amen.
