“Every man I meet is my superior in some way. In that, I learn from him” (Ralph Waldo Emerson).

If we try, we can gain wisdom from each person we meet, and if we gain that wisdom, we will be better for it.

Paul gives this advice to the Philippians (and to us) in Philippians 2:3 he says, “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.”

God, let me find in others the value You see in them. Amen.
