“It is not work that kills men; it is worry. Worry is rust upon the blade” (Henry Ward Beecher).

The wise writer of Proverbs 27:17 says, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” Burdens that are shared with a friend not only removes the rust, but hones us to be able to do more together than each is capable of accomplishing alone.

God, thank You for friends that help to make us useful to YOU and to others.  Amen
