“Consider that this day ne’er dawns again.” (Dante Alighieri 1265–1321)

As this year draws to an end we understand this year and each of its days will never open before us again. There are days we would like to have a chance either to undo a problem, or just to enjoy it all over again. God gives us each day as a gift. The writer of Psalms 16:5 reminds us of this with these words, “LORD, YOU ARE MY PORTION and my cup of blessing; You hold my future.”

God, Thank You for this day. Let us be good stewards with what You have blessed us with. Amen.
