Today's cherished Nugget from guest blogger Pastor Bill

 

“I’ve shut the door on yesterday, And thrown the key away— Tomorrow holds no fears for me, Since I have found today”  (Vivian Yeiser Laramore).

It is easy to dwell on the past and allow paralysis to set in, keeping us from seizing the day. To be blessed with the means of finding the answer to such problems, we must remember these words from the writer of Psalms 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

What a blessing to know, when God is with us, both our present and future is secure.

God, thank You for being with us in our past, present, and future.  Amen.
