“A person who is to be happy must actively enjoy his blessings.” (Cicero 106–43 b.c.)

Recognizing our blessings is the first step in being able to give thanks. The greatest blessing is the forgiveness of sin we receive through the blood of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul in Romans 4:8 says, “How happy the man whom the Lord will never charge with sin!”

God, I am very happy resting in You and Your love for me.  Amen.
