What are people thinking?

Losing a child to death brings a myriad of emotions ...
 all complicated ... all different ... all difficult.

Jan speaks today about ..  strange advice!
   

The Worst: After our 19 year old son died from cancer, a friend told me one day: "Just think of Jody like he's away at college, that way you won't be so sad!".....only he never calls, or writes or comes home!.....what are people thinking?

Father, Yahweh, I pray today for Jan, and all who have lost a child.  I pray that when people make strange statements that actually are hurtful ... that you will be the grieving parents balm.
