Yahweh: Reveals His Thoughts


“He is here:  the One who forms the mountains,
creates the wind, and reveals His thoughts to man,
the One who makes the dawn out of darkness
and strides on the heights of the earth.
Yahweh , the God of Hosts, is His name.

Amos 4:13 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

Here we have Yahweh declaring that it is He who first reveals His thoughts to mankind.  This even when the hot displeasure of Yahweh’s holiness is soon to be revealed.

The purpose?  So that when Yahweh moves, mankind will know and understand that it is Yahweh that indeed moves in the affairs of men, nations, and His creation.  This, for the glory and honor of His Name.

This, is in The Name.
